Students in Arts & Sciences must have a 2.0 GPA to enroll in courses in the College of Business Administration. Some courses have Sophomore or Junior standing as a prerequisite. See your bulletin for details.
Minor
for General Business
(Plan A only)
The College of Business Administration has joined with the College
of Arts and Sciences to offer a minor in general business to Arts
and Sciences students. As a prerequisite to the minor, students are
required to complete 12 credit hours of foundation courses in math,
statistics and economics and to pass the CBA Minimum Computer Proficiency
Examination. Students in the College of Arts and Sciences will find
that some of these foundation courses will apply toward their comprehensive
education requirements. After completing the required foundation courses,
students complete 19 - 21 credit hours in business core courses which
will provide the students a general business background. Students who
minor in general business and are accepted into a masters program offered
through the College of Business Administration will find they are well
prepared to enter the masters program.

- 12 - 16 hours within the College of Business Administration. No more than 9 hours from any one CBA department (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing) and courses from at least three CBA departments are required.

Note: Students majoring in Economics may only count 211-212 or 210 towards both their major and a Plan A business minor. Students double minoring in economics and business may not count any economics course toward both minors.
