Judaic Studies is an interdisciplinary program of the Norman and Bernice Harris center for Judaic Studies, 107 Bessey Hall. The minor in Judaic Studies is for students interested in the nature and history of Jewish cultures and peoples, the ways in which Jewish and other traditions have influenced each other, and the origins and effects of anti-Semitism and prejudice. Courses in Judaic Studies are offered by cooperating faculty in departments across the College of Arts and Sciences. Theses departments include classics, English, history, modern languages and literatures, philosophy, political science, psychology, religious studies, and sociology.
