Megan Fair | Senior Psychology
Employed by the Department of Psychology

Our Ovation for February goes out to Megan Fair. As her nominations say, "Megan Fair, a senior Psychology major, has worked in the Department of Psychology for the past year and half. She does many main office duties, including reception, copying, helping the lost and confused, and problem-solving of all sorts. Megan can work very independently, and with great initiative and creativity. The consistently high quality of her work is impressive and her professionalism is exemplary. In addition to being an outstanding student worker in our office, she was highly qualified and very willing to jump in on short notice as a Teaching Assistant for our PSYC 350 (Research Methods and Data Analysis) course. Megan took on this challenging position that is usually filled by a graduate student and has done a terrific job. On top of this, she’s an incredibly nice, polite, and caring young woman. Wow!...

"Megan is an outstanding student worker for our department. She is so motivated to work and stay busy that she actually (playfully) competes with others to get picked as the student worker who should get to do a task. It's become a game in our department thanks to Megan's positive attitude. Her shining reputation has led to additional opportunities in our department. This fall she will act as one of a very few undergraduate TAs. Not every student gets picked for this honor and we are very proud to have her as a member of our team of student workers..."
