Robert Turman | Senior
Accounting major
Employed by Modern Languages
Ovation for March goes out to Robert Turman, senior Accounting major working in Modern Languages. As his nominations say, "Rob is a wonderful addition to the staff of our department. He was hired in September 2004, and since then he has proved himself to be invaluable. Every day, he walks into work and assesses the copy needs of our instructors. He begins work without anyone having to direct his attention. He also completes assigned projects long before deadlines, and the quality of his work in on par with a permanent full time employee. He is very personable, and many of our faculty and instructors know him by name. He is also very responsible - I never have to worry whether projects will be completed, and completed well. I cannot imagine a better candidate for the Ovation Award than Rob Turman. We love him!...
"He doesn't have the most glamorous or fun job
but is always willing to do more. As his job says, he is a student first
and Rob does make sure to get his studies done before he does anything
else. We are very grateful to have Rob and love to have him around. He
really does have a tough job working with mostly women who love to include
him in ALL their conversations. He's a good sport and fun to be around!
All in all, Rob gets the job done, studies hard and still manages to have
some fun!"
