Miranda Ducey | International Studies major
Employed by the Center for Great Plains Studies

Our Ovation for January goes out to Miranda Ducey, senior International Studies major working in the Center for Great Plains Studies. As her nomination says, "Miranda has been with us for 2 years and has never said "no" to any job assignment we've given her -- and, we have given her quite a variety of jobs to do! Instead, she smiles and enthusiastically sets off to complete a new task. When we asked her to work with some of the other students on a new project, she asked appropriate questions, listened to others, and devised a timeline. Within 3-4 days, the project was finished, and the students felt good about the results and their part in it. Any employer who is lucky enough to hire Miranda after she graduates, will find her a strong candidate for taking responsibility, exhibiting good interpersonal skills, and willing to participate in co-operative projects."
