Temporary lecturer (Lecturer/T)

Post Doctoral or Senior Research Associate

Use visiting faculty sample letter at http://www.unl.edu/svcaa/resources/forms/ Post-Doctoral Research Associate or Senior Research Associate, as appropriate. If it is A post-doctoral appointment must be on a 12-month basis. The letter must contain a statement that an appointment as a post doctoral research associate is limited to five years and that the annual reappointment depends on successful accomplishment of assigned duties and the availability of funds. It should also note that post-doctoral research associates do not qualify for retirement benefits but if appointed at 0.5 or greater, they are eligible for NUFlex benefits.
