Overview

Psychology studies mental processes and behavior by looking at perception, cognition, personality, and other areas.

Psychologists attempt to predict and control behavior by researching, experimenting, and reporting their findings.

Possible Careers

With a bachelor's degree, you may find work in human or social services, such as case management or career counseling, or in a position requiring interpersonal and communication skills, such as sales, marketing, or management. Continuing on to graduate school will help you find work in areas such as clinical psychology, forensic psychology, and school psychology.

The unique orientation course lets you get acclimated to the department and explore many diverse career pathways. The specialized curriculum offers a good balance and breadth in the major relating to your areas of interest.

We also feature research laboratories in Behavioral Neuropharmacology, biopsychology, legal decision-making, and more.
