Professor of statistics and sociology Dr. Allan McCutcheon will participate at the National Association of Secretaries of State's annual conference on July 16-19. He is going to present his ideas on using data collected in national exit polling to guide voter outreach, education, and communications.
Dr. McCutcheon is the Donald O. Clifton Chair of Survey Science and is connected to the Gallup Research Center and the Survey Research and Methodology graduate program.
Founded in 1904, the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) is the nation's oldest, nonpartisan professional organization for public officials. Members include the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The association serves as a medium for the exchange of information and fosters cooperation between states governments in the development of public policy.
