Feminism without borders

Carrie Walker will be discussing her trip where she served as a representative of the Women's and Gender Studies Transnational Feminism group at the Commission on the Status of Women Conference at the United Nations in New York from February 28th - March 7th, 2009. She will be discussing her experiences and sharing her findings.

Human Trafficking Conference

History professor Donna Akers and Women's and Gender Studies professor Anchalee (Joy) Panigabutra-Roberts have both been active in the fight against human trafficking.  Learn more about their involvement in this handout.

The conference began yesterday with the opening talk by Kevin Bales and continues through October 31.

Chantal Kalisa

Chantal Kalisa took students to Rwanda in July to look at the aftermath of the 1994 genocide.
