New Student Enrollment Preparation Materials and Information
Newly admitted University of Nebraska-Lincoln students must schedule and attend a New Student Enrollment (NSE) day. NSE incorporates new first year and transfer student orientation and academic advising. On a student's NSE date, s/he can expect to learn about the campus, the degree college, meet with an academic adviser to plan the first semester schedule, and register for first semester.
In preparation for NSE, each student should review and complete the following forms:
- the "Possible First Major Course" handout with the "Essential Studies Checklist"
- the "New Student Enrollment Advising Inventory" or "Transfer New Student Advising Inventory"
