Why you chose your major
I am really passionate about understanding people. I want to understand why people do things and I want to make an impact on people's lives.
Favorite and/or most impactful course
Comm 283 had the biggest impact on me. My parents encouraged me to take that class and this class ultimately is what made me add communication studies as a second major. This class taught me communication skills that I use in everyday interactions and I also understand the reason behind people's communication skills.
Research or internship experience
I have not started research yet! I am planning to study abroad next summer!
Other involvement
I am in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
Why you chose Nebraska
I felt at home from the minute I stepped foot on campus. Nebraska is a good distance from home and people here are very welcoming. There are a lot of opportunities available at Nebraska.
